Motho ke motho ka batho (loosely translated) we can only acknowledge our existence through yours.
Late in 2007 we saw a gap for a value-for-money lifestyle retreat in Gauteng and purchased an old 1.4 hectare farmhouse in Pretoria East. We set out (with no prior hospitality experience and limited financial resources) on the arduous task of restoring the property to what you see today.
On 12 May 2008 we opened our doors with decadent eats and a live band. We thought our phones would start ringing the on the 13 May 2008, the global financial meltdown curbed hospitality spend by co-operate clients, and many of our prospective clients were under huge financial strain.
Over the years we have refined our value proposition to our clients. We focus on delivering refreshingly personable service; coupled with flexibility and agility that can be found in our independent hospitality product. We offer a function venue, guest lodge and stay-spa.
Our business tourism experience has been the cornerstone of the business boasting clients like NPA, DPP, SABS, SAP, Metsweding Municipality, Coca Cola Distribution etc.
In 2010, the industry is starting to recognise us as emerging tourism entrepreneurs (ETEYA Gauteng Semi-finalist & GEP SMME Excellence Award Nominee) .We are only just over 3 years old, and could not have reached this milestone without our mentors and supporters, friends, and fans. Thank you
 Social Responsibility
Our mission is to value our people, our surroundings and the spirit of giving (ubuntu) in everything we do. Our social responsibility philosophy is anchored on a Sesotho proverb : “ Motho ke motho ka batho” . Loosely translated, we can only acknowledge our existence as people through relating to others. We proudly support Refilwe Orphanage in Cullinan.
BEE-Black Economic Empowerment
We are a 100% black woman owned business, and are a level 3 BEE contributor.
We love this industry, and look forward to welcoming you to our place!
Yours sincerely
Management
